If you highlight any text inside of the message, you get the option to convert that text into a TASK. Also, there could be a simple keyboard shortcut to create tasks once you hightlight some text.

Once you convert a sentence into a task, then you have the to-do circle appear inline with the text in the message. This could be useful if a client gives you 5 requests in an email, you could highlight each request and turn it into a task. Anytime you create a task from an email, that task also appears in your TO-DO list which would be in a different window in the app. The TO-DO list would hold all tasks you’ve created, and keep them organized by project (since it already knows what project (or email thread) a task is associated with). When viewing tasks in the TO-DO list, you could click on the task, which could link you BACK to the email thread where the task originated. so you could easily go back to the message to get more context if necessary.

Once you mark a task as complete, you’ll get the checkmark of completion anywhere that task appears. So you could be reviewing your email conversation with the client, and easily see what requests have been completed vs incomplete.
