Pocketknife was founded in Columbus, OH in 2014 by Jared Gibbons and Kelly Nowels. Fast forward a couple of years and Pocketknife quickly became a top recommended Squarespace agency, chosen as one of only a handful of recommended experts by the folks at Squarespace themselves. What started as a 2-man operation has quickly blossomed into a tight-knit team of remote Squarespace designers and developers tackling projects of all shapes and sizes.
Collectively, we have over 10 years of experience developing and designing websites exclusively on Squarespace. We handle everything from project management, to the design and development of your website, to the training you receive once your website is built.

Jared holds down the fort at our Columbus location. Believe it or not, he hasn’t downloaded TikTok, and does his best to let those around him know (as an aging millennial should). The man loves a mediocre decaf coffee and an above average crime documentary. While he recognizes the weirdness of it, he deeply loves cheering on The Ohio State University football team. But he went there, so it’s acceptable.

Kelly captains our west coast ship from the Seattle area. Kelly usually prefers to use 2 wheels instead of 4. And because of this we can only assume he has the highest VO2 Max on the team. His instagram account is sneaky good, showcasing his daily adventures and ridiculously cute son.
